The long drought is over! After 25 years, the SMU Mustangs will again play in a bowl game! June Jones has engineered the best turn-around in the nation, improving the Ponies by 6 wins from a year ago.
It's a Christmas present for all SMU fans as the Mustangs take on Nevada in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve. Rich Phillips will fight his way through a rugged week on the beach in Hawaii to get you ready with a special 2 hour pre-game show starting at 5 PM on December 24th. Kickoff is at 7 on Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket.
Our very own Rich Phillips returns to the play-by-play booth for a 9th season, and he's hooked the Sea Bass to patrol the Mustangs sideline. Every broadcast of SMU football starts with a 30 minute pre-game show.
