| How to get to play on ANDROID devices: |
|
|
well the way i found.
Create a moodio account, use dolphin browser, setting user agent of iPhone, install cherryR player or aonline radio player, In dolphin, browse to m.moodio.FM -this is station list on your phone. When you select a station, your phone should prmpt you to select an app for streaming if you have more than one, else it should open the only streaming app.
it worked for me, stay .. h |

I've created an account on moodio (Yourmuze now) and wanted to know: what is the name of the station that I'm looking for? I saw one for The Ticket, but I don't think it's relevant because it doesn't show up on My Station list. BTW, I have a Samsung Impression and am able to stream an 80's station from there, so I know it works.
TIA, |

| Never mind, the station is (ticket1310). Like I said, this plays on my Samsung Impression through the media player. Woo Hoo. |

i'm using an HTC hero from Sprint...
i use "Radiotime"...it's a $2.99 app that is easy as pie to use, and works like a charm with 1310.
no need to set anything, just find it in the "market", download, and find "the ticket"... |

| there is also wunderradio for android 1.6 and up.. which most droid phones should have, but you have to pay for it, if you want to be cheap like me you can still do the workaorund i thread for android phones. |

I just use RadioTime. It is well worth the $3 bucks or so they ask for. I have used it on a Droid Inc and Charge with no major issues. If you set up an account then you can set presets and quickly access them no matter where you are.

I found a free app on the Android Market called XiiaLive Lite. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.android.DroidLiveLite&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5hbmRyb2lkLkRyb2lkTGl2ZUxpdGUiXQ..
It does Shoutcast. Just download that, go to favorites, add a favorite and paste in : http://player.cumulusstreaming.com/stations/KTCK-AM/PubPoint.asx
And BAM! sweet clean streaming on your android device. I have used this with an older phone (HTC HD2 which I rooted and reversed the WinMo whip and put android on) and now on my new Motorola droid Razr. |
