Can the little ticket stay in this market much longer?
Yea i know they've heard it for years, even before they went on air, but there are other forces at work

here. First the economy, its hard to command top dollar for advertising spots now and that means hanging on

to the remaining on-air talent could be tenuous at contract time.

Second there are now two other sports talk stations that weren't here in 94', and by the way seen Ben and

Skins tv commercial? Pretty inticing, just sayin...

Third and most important Jerry Jones changes radio stations like he changes Head coaches and when this contract

is up he will most certainly go to a bigger signal. That move will cost the ticket have its ratings.

Re: Can the little ticket stay in this market much longer?
The little Ticket will live forever as long as all of us P1's keep on listening. Everyone knows times are bad right now, that is one of the reasons I enjoy tuning in because I know I will be entertained. The Ticket didn't have the Cowboys when I first started listening back in '97 and we made it. The little Ticket and the P1's will keep on evolving and I look forward to listening in for the rest of my life, a habit that I am forcing on my 2 young sons, my oldest has almost qualified for P1 status by the way.

Look anything can happen in these times I guess. The bottom line is that as long as we P1's stand by what we love so strong and hard the ticket will always be the leader of sports and bits.

I don't think the Ticket is going anywhere. According to Radio-Online, the Ticket is the #1 sports station in overall ratings with higher ratings than both evil empire and that other crappy sports station combined. I wouldn't be too worried about the little ticket, they're doing just fine.

Well, if you go by the activity of this forum (or should I say the "lack of activity"), you would think things are the opposite of what you say. This almost ghost town of a forum makes it seem as if they are about to go out of business at any time.
