| After all the radio talk, and after looking over the Dallas Morning News (mostly Cuban's comments) I find an unusual situation (with usual implecations). Here we have Cuban talking on having meetings to discuss ways to cut down players "communicating" thier opinions with each other. So, if player (who has "served" his time with an organization NOT of his choosing) wishes to get out of that situation, it needs to be done with minimal "buddy" discussions. Now; lets put owners in the same situation. Is it possible they could "stop" having private discussions/phone calls to talk on how to get rid of this player, and where it is best (for us) to send him. Let's NOT take into account that he may have set his family's future up in that city. And, let's not EVEN get into this dumping a player because of contract issues, sending him to another team who will also dump the contract (player). Sounds like "travelling" fun for that single, skirt-chasing type of guy. But, what about the other types? So, Mr. Cuban (Cleveland owners and others), I don't see your statements as making sense when YOU are doing a similiar thing (just on a different level). This is not one of those "anonymous" messages. I can be replied to at: allsemana@tx.rr.com |
