Ask the Program Director.
Check here for answers to some pressing questions from the P1's
Q1: Why doesn't the Cowboys radio broadcast on the Ticket match
up to my TV Picture ?
A1: It is impossible for the Ticket audio to match every TV delivery system available to the P1. For example, if you have over the air tv (rabbit ears), Cable, or Satellite... the picture gets sent to your TV at different time. The Ticket radio broadcast is not in delay--the TV is!! And if you have HDTV, that creates even more problems. In order to try and serve as many p1's as we can, as well as those listening on headphones at homegames, the Ticket Cowboys Broadcasts are matchup up with the regular over the air TV broadcasts of the game.
Q2: I'm having Poscasting issues. Why won't they automatically download. Why haven't they been updated etc etc...
A2: We have recently changed over to new servers that service our podcasts (among other things) The podcast system is up and running, and single podcasts can be downloaded on the podcast page. What is not working yet are the iTunes subscription buttons. iTunes is slow to respond to requests... when all sides are caught up, they will return.
TO MANUALLY UPDATE YOUR PODCAST "Channel"
If you use iTunes, in the left panel under Library, click Podcasts. Right-click on the old podcast channel (KTCK/Bad Radio, etc..) and select delete. Then, in the top main menu of the iTunes application click Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast.
Here you want to paste the url's below, one at a time and click OK. Theses are available via the orange XML button on the podcast page. To get these links, click on the orange xml button, copy the link in the browser address bar and paste it in the "Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast" text box.

Q3: What's the deal with streaming? It seems like it works fine, then I have a problem.
A3: See above. We have recently changed servers that handle our streaming audio (among other things). We do believe that those servers are now working properly and you should have no problem connecting to and enjoying the Ticket via the internet stream. HOWEVER, keep in mind that the server and the stream is like a highway, things get busy during rush hour. During our high demand programming, such as Cowboys Press Conferences, player shows or weekly features, traffic on the server gets backed up causing problems. We do have a redundancy system in place to handle those times, but it still is an internet stream, not a radio broadcast transmission.
NOTE: NFL Rules prohibit us from streaming the Cowboys games. We do stream Cowboys Countdown to Kickoff pregame show and our Cowboys Overtime postgame show. To hear the actual games on the internet check nfl.com or dallascowboys.com for information.
Q4: Who is the Cowboys Player guest going to be this week on Brad Sham's Cowboys Hour, heard on the Ticket Tuesday nights at 7pm?
A4: As soon as we know, we'll post it here. But just so you know, here are the Hooter's locations that will host the Cowboys Hour for the next couple of weeks:
December 19: Addison Beltline rd, just East of the Tollway
December 26: Lewisville I-35 just past Vista Ridge Mall
