Question of the day

Q: Will the Cowboys defense be better or worse in 2019 than it was in 2018?

Jean-Jacques Taylor: The Cowboys’ defense should be even better than last year when they tied for 5th in run defense (94.6), 6th in the league in points allowed (20.3) and 7th in yards allowed (329.3). That’s because their best players are still ascending and they have a layer of guys like Maliek Collins, Chido Awuzie, Anthony Brown and Xavier Woods ready to have career years. And that’s not even talking about veteran defensive linemen such as Christian Covington, Kerry Hyder and Robert Quinn who should make an impact.
