19-year-old Jordan Spieth out of Jesuit will be competing in the U.S. Open starting June 13th at Merion. Spieth birdies three of his last four holes in Monday's qualifier at Lakewood Country Club. At 8 under par for two rounds the teenager claims one of four spots available in the Open. Plano's Matt Weibring and Lakewood member Edward Loar also go 8 under to qualify for the U.S. Open.
