Rangers come up short against the A’s

Matt Garza gives up an uncharacteristic three runs in the first inning, including a two-run blast to Yoenis Cespedes, and the Ranger fall to the Athletics 4-2.  Jarrod Parker and three relievers held Texas to two runs on seven hits, and the Rangers five game winning streak comes to an end.  Elvis Andrus extended his hitting streak to 16 games after hitting safely in the 7th inning.  Texas plays their final game against Oakland until September Sunday at 3:05, Central time.
