The Rangers lost to the Pirates, 1-0. Yu Darvish allowed just two extra-base hits all game, but they came back-to-back in the seventh with Pedro Alvarez doubling home Marlon Byrd. Darvish didn't come out for the eighth after experiencing cramps in his right leg. Darvish struck out six while walking one in his seven innings. The Texas batters managed just four hits.
