Helio Castroneves, a.k.a., "Spiderman", won the Firestone 550 IndyCar race at Texas Motor Speedway last night.
As is his custom after a victory, Castroneves stopped his car near the flag stand and scaled the catch fence, waving to his fans and celebrating the win.
Castroneves has now won four races at TMS, more than any other driver. He began the race tied with fellow IndyCar driver Sam Hornish, Jr. with three career wins at the Fort Worth oval.
It was the first win of the 2013 IZOD IndyCar season for Castroneves, who now leads all drivers in points. There have been seven winners of the eight IZOD IndyCar events this season. Runner-up Ryan Hunter-Reay finished almost five seconds behind Castroneves.
