Monta Ellis leads teh Mavs with 21 points. Vince Carter adds 17 off the bench and Dirk Nowitzki puts up 15 points despite being limited by a bruised elbow and triceps.
The Mavericks are seven games over .500 for the first time since the spring of 2012. And they inch up a spot to seventh in the Western Conference. Dallas on the road for the next two starting Wednesday night in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
