A spokesperson for Johnny Manziel confirms the quarterback has entered treatment. He’s checked into what one would presume to be some kind of alcohol rehab last Wednesday. A statement released by his people says that he knows there are areas he needs to improve, and he thought the offseason would be a logical time. The Browns offered their own statement, saying they fully support him and respect his personal initiative in the decision.
Since the conclusion of the regular season, Manziel has been photographed in Miami, Aspen, Colorado and Houston. A source said that Manziel was offered six figures by a Vegas casino to host a Super Bowl party and did turn it down.
