After waiving Bernard James earlier this month, today the Mavericks re-upped their backup center. The former Air Force staff sergeant agreed to a deal for the veteran minimum.
Last season in 46 games, james averaged 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in his limited role off the bench.
