The Mavericks taking care of bad teams of late. Dallas playing sub-500 teams in 10 of their last 14 games, and they come out of that stretch with an 11-3 record. That includes the Mavs ripping the Pelicans 108-89 at the AAC.
Monta Ellis leads the way with 23 points and Dirk Nowitzki with 18. The Warriors lose, allowing the Mavs to inch up to 6th in the western conference.
Six of their next eight games are against playoff teams starting Friday night when the Mavericks host the Bulls.
