The 25th Annual Crest Cars.Com Normathon will start on December 8th through its culmination – a full day of broadcasting, LIVE on Dec. 26th from 6am-7pm at Crest Infiniti on the Crest Luxury Car Campus in Frisco.
This effort raises money for the Austin Street Center for the Homeless, which has been recognized nationally for its remarkable work combating homelessness.
The event has touched and bettered the lives of thousands of people in its 24-year existence, and it’s all due to the incredible generosity and care of The Ticket listeners who’ve responded with ever-increasing support. Together over the last 24 years we have raised almost $10 million to help Austin Street Center.

THE CAR RAFFLE
In partnership with the Crest Family of Dealerships, we are pleased to kick off our annual car raffle starting Monday, December 1st.
Only 4,500 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be Friday, December 26th at 6:15pm.

TWO Tom Landry Iconic Photos
Today’s prize comes to us from the incredible photography library of David Woo. David spent 43 years as THE photojournalist for the Dallas morning news. He shot memorable photos of everything from Hurricane Katrina to covering enormous sports events to being embedded with U. S. troops in war zones to shooting revolutions around the world as they unfolded to being asked by President George Bush to come to the White House for the Presidential portrait.
Today’s prize is a pair of 13 X 19 photo art of the legendary Dallas Cowboys head coach. One is the famous picture that became the cover of Landry’s autobiography. It is signed by both Woo and coach Landry. The other almost no one has ever seen. Upon Landry’s death, AT&T decided to put that same photo on the cover of its white pages directory (Remember those?). No one has this 13 X 19 legendary photo. Those are the two images that make up today’s prize!

Item #9 | Artist Vernon Wells Iconic Cowboys Lithographs
Sports fans, and baseball fans in particular, know the name of Vernon Wells, the former slugging outfielder with the LA Angels. But that Vernon Wells is actually Vernon Wells III. His father Vernon Jr. has been an incredibly acclaimed sports artist for decades. When the leading baseball card maker Upper Deck released its 1989 card collection, instead of all pictures of players, it included actual paintings of players all done by Vernon Wells Jr. (Norm—I’m actually a proud owner of a gorgeous Wells portrait of Muhammad Ali signed by both the artist and Ali himself.)
In the late 1990’s Wells created six 26 X 18 beautifully colored lithographs of Cowboy legends. Three are from those great Cowboys teams of the 70’s—Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett and Drew Pearson—and three from the three time Super Bowl teams of the 1990’s—Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin. All of these six lithographs are a matched and numbered set and signed by both the artist and the Hall of Fame Cowboy player. When framed this set would make an awesome and valuable addition to any home, man cave or office. What’s the value of pristine lithographs like these? The Staubach alone can be worth up to $1,500!
