Cumulus Dallas/Ft. Worth is seeking a part-time on-air sports update anchor/board operator.

JOB SUMMARY:

Ideal candidate should have prior on-air and board operating experience, strong announcing skills, ability to write clear and concise copy for on-air delivery, and familiarity with broadcast equipment. Should be familiar with FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelines, as well as be proficient using computer systems such as OpX, Adobe Audition and/or other audio editing and automation programs. Must be willing to accept a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include staying abreast of the latest sports stories and breaking sports news, delivering sports updates twice per hour, and airing live or pre-recorded local and syndicated programs. This includes playing all commercials as scheduled, maintaining a commercial log, and selecting bumper music if needed.
