After missing out on Dwight Howard late last week, the Mavericks are turning their attention to the left-overs at the center position. Dallas is reported to be in pursuit of free agents Andrew Bynum and Jermaine O'Neal.
The 25-year-old Bynum did not play last season in Philadelphia because of knee issues. In seven seasons with the Lakers Bynum averaged nearly 12 points and 8 rebounds per game.
O'Neal will turn 35 before the season starts, and he's been heading downhill for the last three years. O'neal averaging less than 8 points and 20 minutes per game for the Celtics and the Suns.
The Mavs also are reportedly looking into a possible trade of Omer Asik, who does not want to backup Howard in Houston.
Dallas will add two point guards as they've worked out deals with Jose Calderon and former Mav Devin Harris.
