Beltre Bombing Baltimore

Rangers clean-up hitter Adrian Beltre staying red hot. Beltre named the AL Player of the Week last week, and he's not slowing down. He hits two more home runs Tuesday night and adds an insurance run on an RBI single in the ninth as Texas beats the Orioles 8-4.

Beltre is riding an eleven game hitting streak and is hitting just under .500 in that span. He's now hit at least 20 home runs in eight of the last ten seasons. And the Rangers are a ridiculous 73-10 in games in which Beltre has homered since he joined the team.

Martin Perez with a solid start, giving up four runs, only two earned, in six-plus innings. Jason Frasor, Tanner Scheppers, and Cody Burns each with a scoreless inning out of the bullpen.

Another fill-in start for Josh Lindblom tonight as the Rangers play the third of four in Baltimore at 6:05.
