Carlos Hernandez caught touchdown passes of 79 and 93 yards to lead Wake Forest to a 52-14 nonconference win over Delaware Saturday in Winston-Salem, NC.Hernandez had five receptions for a career-high 197 yards for the Demon Deacons (8-3).His 93-yard score in the third quarter was a school record.Robby Ashford completed 15 of 22 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns for Wake Forest.Nick Minicucci completed 21 of 30 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown for the Blue Hens (5-6).The Demon Deacons led 35-7 at halftime, outgaining Delaware 360-114 over the first two quarters, including 225-10 on the ground. Wake Forest finished the game with a 577-300 yardage advantage.Wake Forest went 84 yards in 15 plays to take a 7-0 lead on its first drive.Ty Clark and Demond Caliborne shared the duties on the drive with Clark gaining 28 yards and Claiborne picking up 24.Claiborne finished the drive by scoring his 10th touchdown on a 1-yard plunge.The Demon Deacons forced a three-and-out and wasted little time going up 15-0, driving 59 yards on nine plays.Clark received the scoring honors on this drive, scoring from 13 yards out.At the end of a quarter, Wake Forest had outgained Delaware 143-35.
