That one is completely on me. I did not have us ready to play.”Texas Tech’s All-American forward JT Toppin — who leads the team with 21.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game — had 15 points in the loss, while second-leading scorer Christian Anderson (17.8 ppg) added 13.For McCasland, who played 11 players in the loss, the setback will be used as a measuring stick going forward.”If there’s anything I’ll take from this, I thought we did find a few guys that wanted to go out there and be a part of the game and try to win it, instead of playing good offense and deciding if they wanted to play defense,” McCasland said. “That’s where there won’t be an option in this program.
