The Texas Rangers placed veteran outfielder Kevin Pillar on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with inflammation in his lower back.The team planned to announce a corresponding roster move prior to Thursday’s game but will play with 25 players in Boston on Wednesday night.Pillar, 36, was the Opening Day center fielder for the Rangers but has appeared in just two of the team’s last seven games.
