Adolis Garcia was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a sprained left ankle and the Texas Rangers activated fellow outfielder Evan Carter before the finale of their home series with the Arizona Diamondbacks.Garcia, 32, is batting .224 with 16 home runs and 64 RBIs this season. The two-time All-Star had a four-game hitting streak before going 0-for-4 in Tuesday’s 3-2 loss to the Diamondbacks but is batting .196 in August.Manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday night the Rangers “were just bad” in the loss and pointed to ongoing offensive issues as a concern as Texas attempts to keep pace in the wild-card race.
