UConn five-star freshman Braylon Mullins out 6 weeks

UConn freshman guard Braylon Mullins, a five-star recruit in the incoming class, suffered an ankle injury in practice this week and will miss about six weeks, the school said Friday.Mullins, last year’s “Mr. Basketball” for the state of Indiana, was named the preseason Big East Freshman of the Year earlier this week.He figured to play a major role right away for a Huskies program that won national titles under coach Dan Hurley in 2023 and 2024.
